I don't think any words are necessary.
Power's been out since 6 pm Saturday. Thankfully we have a generator running for heat, coffee pot, and some rooms ~ primarily the grandbaby's so the babymomma can hear the monitors for oxygen and feeding pump in the night. No running water though.
Ohhhh that's a NASTY trick! Not looking forward to snow at all this year, every year it gets less appealing.

My guess is Luke built the snowman! Looks like his work of art....! Thankful you have the generator...snuggle in and get ready for winter!!
ReplyDelete<3 hugs to all, especially Sweet Pea!!!
Any power yet?
ReplyDeleteAnything we can do to help??
Here's hoping for a more power-FULL post from you next time. I'm hoping this doesn't mean we're in for a looong winter.
Thank you all for your WARM thoughts. The furnace is being obstinate, not staying on but today is a sunny day so the south facing living room should be warm enough. Son-in-law is running ragged keeping our house and the neighbors' generators running. Business trip has the old guy gone for the week but thankfully his early flight was cancelled so he was here to do the major clean out, generator set-up, and stock us up with water. Unitil is saying Tuesday or Wednesday. :/ I'm grateful for a gas stove!! The fall foliage although not as bright as some years is striking against a white backdrop!!
ReplyDeleteOh my. Wayyyy to early and here it seemed so cold as we arrived from balmy Arizona. No snow though...
