NSTAR Walk for Boston Children's Hospital

Our first year doing the NSTAR Walk for Boston Children's Hospital.  Cold and raw, perfect weather for Miss Amber!  She was rocking her "One Tough Cookie" onesie with her raspberry tutu leggins!  June 2011.  Grammy and Grampy didn't know Charlie was here!!

NSTAR Walk 2012  Oh, what a very hot day!  Amber and Charlie couldn't do the 7 mile this year, just the 2 mile.  This year they have matching red capes and "Mighty Metabolite" onesies the babymomma made to look a bit like Mighty Mouse.  Charming Charlie and Amazing Amber!

NSTAR Walk 2013  Very warm but breezy off the harbor and along the Charles River.  Grammy and Grampy did the 7 miles for the third year in a row.  No shade on the Cambridge side of the river but we survived.  Mighty Charlie and his parents did 4 miles this year, staying on the Boston side in the shade.  As part of the fundraising for the hospital, you can purchase an Honor Flag up to two weeks before the walk.  We do not know who purchased this for Amber, but it sure did bring tears to our eyes when we spotted it near the end of the walk.  Charlie and company didn't see it on their walk as they were in a crowd.  We brought them back for a picture and to take the flag home with us.  Bittersweet walk this year.  Oh how we miss our precious baby girl.

Psalms 34.18  The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit.
