White Wednesday and a Piece of Poetry




An excerpt from Velvet Shoes by Elinor Wylie
We shall walk in velvet shoes:
Wherever we go
Silence will fall like dews
On white silence below.
We shall walk in the snow.

I'm not sure the birds feel the same way! I love the one upside down on the feeder.
