I would say this is a must read and I hope it is in a YA edition. It is a tough read emotionally and several times I just wanted to put it down and be done with it but my hubby said I had to finish it. Good companion to Three Cups of Tea.
Have you read The Kite Runner. Also a tough read. But one I'm glad I finished it. I have been wanting to read this one, too... but I have to recover from The Kite Runner first!

I didn't read The Kite Runner, saw the movie. My husband has a list he's reading through, and handed me this one. I was so amazed at the range and depth of emotions I experienced as I read this. I would recommend pairing it with something light and upbeat. Do we have any idea of how truly fortunate we are??
